I am a slow scrapper but I was able to come up with this layout in about an hour or so. I am pretty proud of myself. Yey me! :D I was soooooo tempted to write "Bratty" instead of "Sweet". LOL!

With this layout, my "job" as a Design Team Member (DTM) of http://www.doitdigi.com/ has finally started! I am very excited about this and I would like to thank Wendy for trusting me. Thanks to Joy Brown too, for this first kit assigment. And thank you, Liz, for encouraging me to apply as a DTM.
This is the description of my LO in the galleries where I posted it: "Virna is one of my best friends. We grew up with each other in a small village. Our moms are best of friends too. Just like me, Virna is a mother now and her family lives in Manila. We rarely see each other, about once a year when come home for a visit. We are lucky to have her and her kid, Jea (one of the stars of my lay-outs) during the third week of January. In this picture are Virna, Jea and my daughter, Kaela Therese. It was Therese’s first time to meet her Ninang (godmother) and Jea. The kids (and the adults too!) had fun eating, talking, taking pictures and playing. It was indeed, a fun-filled afternoon.Joy Brown’s All Hearts and Flowers is definitely a pretty kit. I personally love the combination of colors and the elements featuring hearts and flowers."
I was able to come up with this LO after a heartbreaking experience (which I don't want to discuss. :D) but I am so proud after finishing this and receiving postive comments from other scrappers. Receiving a very nice email from Joy surely made my day!
